Skills Required: The candidate must have 6 years of increasingly complex and progressive experience in implementing, administering, and managing maintenance activities.

Skills Desired: Requires excellent skills in verbal and written communication with technical personnel and non-technical end users and excellent problem solving skills. Must be able to work efficiently and effectively, alone or in team environments. Experience with Air Force Maintenance Management policies and procedures a Plus. Avionics, electronic warfare.

Position Description: Provide organizational level maintenance support for GCS, subsystems, ancillary equipment and Ground Data Terminals (GDT). Ensure the timely and cost effective repair, upgrade, and maintenance of all assigned systems. Responsible for ensuring all maintenance tasks and functions are accomplished in accordance with (IAW) Air Force Instruction (AFI) 21-101, Aircraft & Equipment Maintenance Management, and also AFI 21-103, Equipment Inventory, Status and Utilization Reporting. Responsible to ensure all pre-, thru, and post-flight inspections are completed and documented accordingly. Must ensure compliance with the responsibilities and aircraft maintenance management philosophy and policies when completing all assigned maintenance tasks. Must ensure accomplishment of planned sortie production and all maintenance actions as necessary to support the flying schedule, IAW all applicable Technical Orders (TOs). Responsible for maintenance data documentation and aircrew debriefing as required. Must provide daily equipment status, updates and required maintenance actions. Coordinate maintenance during downtimes or when mission impact is the lowest. Ensure all required parts for repairs are ordered and tracked. Complete and/or sign Exceptional/Conditional Releases IAW TO 00-20-1. Ensure all maintenance actions are documented IAW TOs and correctly entered into IMDS. Must track all pilot-reported discrepancies in IMDS and inform aircrew of corrective actions taken upon request. Good customer service skills are a MUST. Shift work required to support 24X7 operations.

Security Clearance: Active TS. Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
