Sr Engineer/Analyst III

Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.

Education Desired: Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field. Network certification (e.g., CCNP)

Skills Required: 5 years combined experience in the hands-on systems engineering, implementation, testing, and/or program management of computer networks or telecommunication systems supporting low-latency applications. Excellent technical writing and documentation/drafting skills. Design, installation, and troubleshooting of IP-based networks with routing, switching, and multicast expertise.

Skills Desired: Experience with Windows/Unix, or Linux servers along with standards-based video/voice applications. Knowledge of video standards (MPEG2, H.264) or network-based video solutions. System security or accreditation experience.

Position Description: Serve as the technical lead on corporate and customer projects providing computer networks, full-motion video, voice communications, and data/metadata transmissions. Some projects will support Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) operations. Provide requirements definition, system design, system integration, installation, testing, and training for DoD and non-DoD customers to design and integrate solutions incorporating best-value solutions. Lead the definition and documentation of requirements and solutions by interfacing with stakeholders throughout the design and installation process, such as operational users, UAV liaison officers, intelligence/exploitation users, and headquarters personnel.

Security Clearance: Active Secret or Eligibility for Secret or higher clearance. Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
